Alimi has been an independent insurance agent and broker since 1981, he is also a certified financial planner, barrister (England and Wales), attorney-at-law (Jamaica) and principal of a New York state registered investment advisor.
He takes pride in helping his firm’s large clientele with timely advice on proper insurance and personal risk management techniques. In addition, Alimi has appeared on community cable television stations, radio talk shows and has written many articles on financial planning and insurance.
He is the proprietor of the Theory of Organic Capital Formation ™, which is designed to help low and middle income individuals achieve financial literacy and adequate financial resources to meet their income needs today and, more importantly, tomorrow.
Alimi has served on the agents’ advisory board of a top automobile insurance company, served as director of the Council of Insurance Brokers of Metropolitan New York and has been invited to speak before the Committee on Insurance, State Assembly of New York.
